Sigmas at Virginia Tech

Chapter History

The Malicious Mu Nu Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on the campus of Virginia Tech on May 15, 1980. This charter was made possible by Bro. Curtis O. Porter of the Alpha Alpha Alpha Chapter from Virginia State University, and the efforts of seven honorable charter members: Bro. Chuck Bishop, Bro. Roger Freeman, Bro. Kenny Johnson, Bro. Eric Pankey, Bro. Bruce Carver, Bro. Tony King, and Bro. Kurt Holloway.

Since our chartering, the Mu Nu Chapter has served uninterrupted and has been the most prominent chapter in the New River Valley.
